Strategy
Because the business of AVEX is currently made up of a single SBU, the AVEX ?strategy? can be, from the point of view of content, defined as ?business strategy?.
Under the conditions found in AVEX, from the point of view of content, business strategy can be defined as a marketing mix:
- Product, electronic modules and electronic products,
- Price, Cost Leadership pricing policy, competitive price, appropriate for the quality of the products (Cost leader),
- Place, B2B market orientated towards global electronics manufacturers, Slovakia and the region of Central Europe,
- Promotion, promotion towards the leading global electronics manufacturers.
The basic means and form of competitive action, which AVEX uses when implementing its business strategy, concept of generic strategies, is a cost strategy ? cost leadership. In terms of the cost strategy under the conditions found in AVEX, the most important competitive advantage is the low unit prices, which the company can afford thanks to the relatively low costs, which it is able to achieve through a high level of productivity at work in terms of mass and bulk production of electronics.
In terms of the ?cost leadership? cost strategy, AVEX is governed by the following strategic principles:
- Use of savings from the scope of large-volume manufacturing, i.e. mass and bulk manufacturing, with low unit costs,
- Application of modern, so-called low-cost methods of managing manufacturing processes such as the lean manufacturing approach, TQM and in terms of this, especially the Kaizen method etc.
